FSNB has won a number of prestigious banking awards.
WHAT IS BANK OF THE YEAR?
Soaring above and beyond brings recognition each year to military banks across the globe. Each branch of the service acknowledges a financial institution during the annual AMBA (American Military Bank Association) conference. Banks are nominated by the installations they serve and are then required to meet certain qualifications. Each branch of service produces its own criteria. A basic criterion includes servicing customers with a variety of products and innovations, as well as supporting the installation and having an active interest in the community.
ARMY BANK OF THE YEAR
FSNB received its first Distinguished Banking Service Award from the Assistant Secretary of the Army - Financial Management in 1989. FSNB has since received The Best Bank in the Army award in 1990, 1991, 1993, 1994, 1997, 1999, 2008, 2010, and 2012.
AIR FORCE BANK OF THE YEAR
FSNB received its first banking award from the United States Air Force in 1995. The honor of Best Bank in the Air Force was again awarded to FSNB in 1998, 2001, 2010, 2012, 2018, and 2022.
MARINE/NAVY BANK OF THE YEAR
FSNB first received its award for servicing the Marines/Navy in 1996, followed by awards in 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2013, 2014, and 2015.
